Police K9
At MidproK9 we do not buy large quantities of dogs and place with them with handlers. We meet with your Department to obtain the needs of your K9 Program and then hand select that K9 to meet those needs.
Our program is set up to make your program succeed. Each K9 Team attends training at our facility that includes classroom, written test (80% minimum passing score), hands on training and testing. We train to the North American Police Working Dog Association (NAPWDA) Training Standards and we are able to adjust most training programs to fit your Departments needs.
NAPWDA Certification is also offered.
All of our Police K9s come with a working guarantee and health warranty!
Illinois Police K9s are train to the requirements set by ILETSB.
Our unique training programs will give your handler the proper techniques on how to handle their Police K9 along with the knowledge to problem solve and get results on the street, where it counts!

Narcotic Detection Single Purpose K9 Handler School. Handler will attend a 4 week school which includes Classroom, Handler's Guide, Written Testing and Hands on training. Dual Purpose Patrol (Narcotic)
Narcotic Dual Purpose Patrol K9 Handler's School. Handler will attend a 6 - 7 week school which includes Classroom, Handler's Guide, Written Test and Hands on Training. Price includes K9 Pre Training, Handler's Course and Canine. K9 is trained in Narcotic Detection, Obedience, Tracking, Handler Protection, Aggression Control, Area/Building Suspect Search and Article Search.
